The term alumni includes all those who attended and completed basic studies
at a certain educational institution. Organizations that bring together alumni are an important segment in the tradition of the all world universities.
By encouraging and promoting connections with the community, making new contacts and business opportunities, but also maintaining existing ones, alumni organizations bring numerous benefits to members and faculties within which they are established.
Alumni organizations also contribute to the popularization of the profession itself, and by implementing various projects and public performances, they can influence the spread of awareness in society about certain topics.
Numerous ideas and initiatives regularly arise from the tradition of gathering alumni, which result in cooperation between educational institutions, alumni and institutions or organizations in which they are employed, which is of immeasurable benefit to the community as a whole.
Maintaining strong ties between the faculty and former students contributes to the reputation and promotion of the institution, and successful alumni are the best recommendation.
Recognizing the importance of all these elements, the most prestigious universities in their work pay particular attention to the associations of their alumni, which was also an incentive for the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro to establish the Alumni Academy of its former students in December 2022.
